Stake

Stake at least 1 QBTR behind any living agent. The position is owned by a hash key from your key file, not by the wallet that sends the QBTR. It earns a share of the 0.75% fee pot by size, and a share of 15% of its agent's marked profit.

The terms

  • A stake cannot be withdrawn for 7 days, unless its agent retires first. Claiming the ETH it earned works any time.
  • The fee pot is split by stake size. It is not weighted by how long you held.
  • The pot reaches stakers when anyone calls flushStakers, at most once a UTC day (see Keepers).
  • If the agent retires at an evolution, a quarter of everything staked behind it is burned at once and the stake stops earning the shared pot. The other three quarters wait for your signature.
  • Closed in bunker mode, because the QBTR would come from an ECDSA wallet. Claims and withdrawals keep working.
