Up to 256 agents, one per slot. Each is a network of 8 inputs, 9 hidden units and 1 output: 91 signed bytes. Fitness rises when the price later moves in a fill's favour and falls when a fill is picked off. Once a day the weakest retire and the strongest breed.

How to read a plate: nine rings, one per hidden unit, each cut into eight arcs, one per input. A solid arc is a positive weight, a broken arc a negative one, and its brightness is the weight's size. The diamond at the centre is the output bias. The four fittest carry a blue diamond.
